of concepts and procedures of CMI's finance application. Participants will be familiarized with: coding
practices for funds, accounts and banks; data entry practices; processing vouchers and checks; and
reporting.

Course content is targeted for experienced users who need a review of advanced
concepts and capabilities of the Finx software. This course is divided into context sensitive
modules. Participants will be shown: an overview of the application's parts and components,
additional uses and capabilities of the application, budget preparation, requisition routing,
reporting and querying of records, end of month processing, available system options ('flags').
Recently added enhancements to the software will also be covered.

knowledge of the concepts and procedures involved with CMI's payroll application. Participants
will be familiarized with: coding practices for deductions, hours, and taxes; data entry practices;
the functionality of check reconciliation and accrual processing; reporting; and querying of records.

Course content is targeted for beginners and experienced users who need a detailed
understanding of the payroll check cycle. Participants will be shown the payroll check process:
timesheet entry data entry; correcting and deleting timesheets; printing employee and deduction
checks; voiding timesheets and employee and deduction checks; accrual processing; recreating the
gross payroll voucher; and querying of records.

be shown: an overview of the application's parts and components; data entry practices; setting up
streets; adding new master accounts; the functionality of batch processing in cash receipts; account
adjustments; billing processes; reporting; and querying of records.

Course content is targeted for experienced PC users interested in expanding their
knowledge of computer and networking concepts. Participants will be familiarized with concepts
involving: TCP/IP standards and basic networking; printer and print queue configuration and
troubleshooting; user account management; and basic PC security practices.
