CMI Utility Connect Goes Live at Two Sites

Englewood, OH - Pickerington and Perrysburg, Ohio Utilities Offices go live on CMI's Utility Connect Software.  These sites which have both been using CMI's Utility Billing Solution for over 10 years, have extended services to their citizens by providing account information and optionally, credit card payment capabilities via the web.  Chris Schornack, with The City of Pickerington commented, "We wanted to provide citizens access to their information to increase our services to them and increase our efficiencies internally with the use of technology, and with CMI's Hosted Utility Connect Solution we had it up and running in less than two weeks."  The Utility Connect Solution is hosted at CMI's in-house hosting facility and uses a secure connection to customer sites providing account inquiry capabilities for both citizens and landlords.  Users can access usage history, payment history and general account information.  Julie Otte, with Perrysburg Utilities commented, "Council was really pushing for providing this service to citizens and initially I was a bit skeptical and nervous because it was new and different, but once it was up and running it was much easier than I thought it would be."

CMI, which offers comprehensive software services from planning through system configuration, development, implementation, training and support, currently provides Utility Billing software to nearly one hundred fifty sites within the Midwest.  For more information about Utility Connect, or any other CMI software application, visit the company's website at www.civicacmi.com or call (800) 686-9313 and ask to speak to a CMI Application Specialist.
