Congratulations to this year's CMI Innovation Award Winners!  This annual award recognizes CMI clients who take advantage of technology to improve operations through the use of CMI software, or to clients who are instrumental in helping CMI improve/test and implement new technologies and products.

Franklin County Sanitary Engineer's Office

This CMI client is unique in that their offices are in downtown Columbus, and many of their customers reside outside the city limits.  The County was the first to implement CMI's Utility Connect Product which allows their customers to access account information and make payments via the web without having to drive downtown for this information.  They have had great success in getting their customers to utilize the web portal.

Hamilton Tax Department

This CMI client has worked with CMI to develop our new E-forms product that is now available for Tax and Finance.  Previously the department sent all monthly forms via regular U.S. mail.  Now they are able to send many statements via email in a PDF file and save money on postage costs.  Because of their innovative thinking and assistance, we are going to be able to roll this out to other CMI applications where efficiencies and cost savings can be created.

Maumee Police Department

The MPD has been very instrumental in assisting CMI with the Ohio Local Law Enforcement Information Sharing Network (OLLEISN) Phase I data schema changes.  The Department was instrumental in working with CMI when the Ohio Association of Chief's of Police changed the data formats and was CMI's beta site for re-certification through OLLEISN.

Miamisburg Municipal Court

The Miamisburg Municipal Court was CMI's first client to implement the Authority Court Room Disposition Module.  They were very instrumental in shaping this product providing valuable input to our development staff.  The product improves in-courtroom efficiencies and allows for rapid entry of the Judge's findings.

New Lexington Tax Department

This CMI client did away with using an outside forms printer for their required forms for its Tax Department.  By utilizing CMI's Report Writer and Microsoft Word Templates, they are able to print all forms internally saving on the costs of outsourcing their forms requirements.
