Safety Department Software Solution

(CMI), a leading provider of public safety department operation software, has announced a working partnership with the Armada Group, developers of iLincs^®, a comprehensive law enforcement field information collection, storage and retrieval system.  CMI has integrated its safety software, specifically CAD and RMS, into the Armada MDT solution.  The Armada product will be marketed by CMI as Authority Mobile Safety^®; the company's next generation MDT solution.  We have high expectations for this relationship with Armada, the marketplace leader in this technology, Jim Hodges, CEO of CMI said.  With CMI's capable CAD and RMS solutions and Armada's powerful mobile platforms, users will benefit through the application of this leading-edge complete solution now available from a single source.

     Authority Mobile Safety^® needs no complicated infrastructure for communications, and will work with data cards from most wireless providers.   The system requires a minimal capital outlay and is a subscription based service. 

     Now law enforcement departments can dramatically improve their crime fighting capabilities, increase officer and community safety and enhance department productivity, noted Keith Singleton, founder of the Armada Group, and formerly a veteran officer with the Columbus, Ohio Division of Police. 

     While already a useful and powerful system, CMI plans include a mobile electronic ticketing module for the company's Safety Suite in the near future to further enhance the performance features of the product.
